“If you get the opportunity to stay at Debbie’s vacation rental in Indianola, jump at it. This place is not to be believed! The interior is beautifully decorated. The exterior is new, clean, and attractive. The view is beyond breathtaking. You literally look straight out at Mount Rainier. The beach is perfect for playing and even swimming in. The place itself has everything you could need. It’s perfect for many people to stay in and not feel like you are right on top of each other. She provides games, puzzles, and basically anything you could need for your stay to be perfect. There are beach toys, towels, and chairs. Wood is even provided for an evening around the fire pit. Worth every penny! Dealing with Debbie was great. She is quick to respond and a kind person. We are so thankful for the stay at her amazing Indianola Beach House!”

During our first visit to Washington, my family and I commented that we felt it was Indianola’s mission to spread joy. From the giant ice cream cones at the Country Store, to the friendly neighbors in this quaint and charming town, to the spectacular firework display… this proved true time and time again!
We made such wonderful memories in and around the beach home: from pizza + game nights, s’mores by the warm fireplace, reading a good book on the deck, kayaking for miles (and seeing the cutest sea otters), completing several puzzles, and so much more! Thank you for creating a space that allowed all these beautiful memories to be made.”The Propst Family of 5“The Indianola Beach House is the best rental ever! No kidding. The owners have truly thought of everything. There were 5 of us that stayed here for a Wedding in Port Gamble, and there was nothing that we could think of that we needed that was not already stocked and well placed in the house or on the property. We all agreed this exactly contained all the comforts and necessities of home, plus more. The remote/thermostat controlled gas fireplace is a wonderful addition, especially on the drizzly, cold, wet, first day of our stay. Then there are boats and life jackets for the warmer clear days. We never even used the beautiful large shower on the first floor, but it would be ideal after kayaking on the sound or a wet walk on the beach. The laundry room has all the best equipment and soaps, etc. The house could certainly entertain 10 people easily as the beds are numerous and comfortable; and there are sitting areas both inside and outside, on every floor. The General Store and pier a 1/4 mile away are a delightful walk. The ‘burned’ Reuben sandwich is still living in my dreams. The town of Indianola seems remote, yet is easily gotten to from several ferries and from the main road of the peninsula. It has a charming relaxed old-time feeling. Perchance anything, major, is forgotten, that can’t be obtained at the General Store, there is shopping within 15-20 minutes.We only wished we had time to stay longer and enjoy the lovely home and beachfront.”

Everything you could possible need in a home was here, even down to tongs to roast marshmallows! The fire-pit was stocked with logs, and EVEN had special fireproof blankets!!! This house made our vacation so much better than I could have.”

Everything was perfectly suited for a relaxing girls weekend. We cooked up some tasty meals in the kitchen and didn’t lack for a single utensil. The highlight of the living room was the fireplace. We curled up by the flames each morning with coffee and books. The girls argued over bedrooms and loved having the beach so close. The views are phenomenal!”

William“What can I say but “WOW”! What an amazing beautiful home. The VIEW is breathtaking. I searched many websites to find the perfect vacation getaway. This house just kept saying “pick me, pick me”! The owners were wonderful to work with and their desire to make everyone’s stay memorable shows. We had a small family gathering to escape the stress of everything life and this stay fit the bill. It was hard to leave. House, view, serenity, excellent!”

We’ve had sunny, COLD weather which made the scenery that much better. Our family from California and Nevada enjoyed looking at Mt. Rainier, the Seattle lights, ships etc. You certainly have a perfect location! Tonight we are looking forward to the fireworks. The weather gave us storms and sun breaks. The beach provided plenty of walking time. We had a WONDERFUL weekend. Our dog was in her element, and truly lived a dog’s life on the beach! Thank you for taking care of every detail to make our stay everything we all wanted it to be. Sad to leave.”

Scott“Twice a year for the past 6 or 7 years, the 8 of us rent a house for an extended scrapbooking weekend. We are always in search of the “perfect” getaway house. We finally found that house! The Indianoloa Beach House was perfect in every way. We didn’t want to leave. The owners know how to provide a welcoming environment and thought of everything. The beds, linens, individual soaps, coffee, etc. were classy additions. The kitchen is stocked w/ all the necessities and MORE! The house was plenty big and able to accommodate all of our tables and scrapbooking materials. The view was beautiful and the deck was wonderful to sit on, even in the cold of January. Would love to come to this house in the summer! Everything is up to date and the decor very classy. There wasn’t anything that I thought could have been different. We will definitely be back within the year.”

Phil and Karen“What an incredible gem we have found! This was a perfect getaway for my husband, daughter and mother-in-law, our dog Zoe and myself. My MIL is all the way from Cape Town South Africa. I’ll never forget introducing s’mores to her – a first! We enjoyed several walks a day on the beach. I don’t think our dog has ever been happier. The accommodations were the best we’ve ever experienced in a rental! You have thought of everything under the sun. This couldn’t possibly be any better. Thank you!”

Rhonda and family“On June 21st, 1980, I was married on the lawn of a house along this shore. Indianola was my second home for many years. On July 8, 2017, my Son was married here at Camp Indianola! This house will forever be a part of these glorious days, in my heart and mind. As I gaze out the windows from the Beach House I can see the long dock which adorns Indianola with its grace and beauty. The echos of laughter that reverberate from that point are mixed with the soft breeze, infused with the haunting smell of the sea. What joy emanates from here – this house that reaches to the past and the future. Thank you for sharing this treasure.”
Marie“Our family of 7 had a wonderful time. We hated to leave. The home was perfect, more beautiful than the pictures and the views were breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the beach and the deck. The kids went kayaking everyday!
The weather was perfect! We ate out on the deck, used the fire pit, sat in the lounge chairs and watched the water and read. Both ferries were easy to access and our trips into Seattle and Tacoma were full of fun activities.
The home was stocked with every item we could have ever needed. We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this one was better stocked than any other. Those little items like blankets for the fire pit, a rolling cooler for picnics at the park, games, dvds and plenty of books were very appreciated.

Sabrina“My family just stayed here and we loved every little thoughtful detail that the owner has put into this home. We had two toddlers and two seniors in our group and there was something for everyone. Lots of space. Beautiful views. And very kid friendly! The beds were comfortable, there were bathrobes for each guest and we certainly appreciated all the toiletries, laundry detergent, etc that were already stocked in the house–not many owners think about how nice that is for families to not have to buy their own detergent or hand soap for a short stay. I will definitely be bookmarking this home to come back for a longer stay to enjoy more of the beautiful sights this area has to offer!”
